Safe AI for DME
Your team is already using AI. Give them a safe place to do it.
Many DME staff already paste payer documents, and sometimes patient details, into free AI tools to get work done faster. Those tools don’t come with a BAA, so patient information shared there can put your company at risk. Ask Noel® gives your whole team a safe, approved place to do it, made for DME.
Built for patient informationEvery account signs a BAA, so your team works on real orders, not redacted copies.
SOC 2 Type II auditedOur security controls are tested and verified by independent auditors.
Every answer shows its sourceThe LCD, policy article or DME MAC guidance behind it, so your team can verify before acting.

Can we use patient information with Ask Noel®?
Yes. Every plan includes a signed Business Associate Agreement, and Ask Noel® runs in CompliantRx’s secure environment with controls built for healthcare. Each organization stays responsible for using it in line with its own privacy, security and HIPAA policies.
How many documents can we review?
Free includes 1 document review a month for each person. Paid plans include 10 reviews a month per user, shared across your team: Solo 10, Team 50 and Business 150. On Team, each user you add beyond 5 costs $69 a month and adds 10 reviews. Need more? Extra reviews are $5 each, and you choose whether to turn them on. Each document can be up to 50 pages. Asking Noel questions doesn’t count toward your review limit.
Can Ask Noel® check eligibility or find a patient’s insurance?
Yes. Eligibility checks (including Medicaid managed care), MBI lookups and insurance discovery run inside Ask Noel®. Every paid plan includes checks each month, shared across your organization: Solo gets 25 eligibility checks, 5 MBI lookups and 2 insurance discovery searches; Team gets 150, 25 and 10; Business gets 400, 60 and 25. Unused checks don’t roll over, and extra searches are billed per search. Free accounts get a one-time starter pack. Checks turn on after a short setup call where we collect your NPI and PTAN.
Can Ask Noel® qualify all of our orders?
Ask Noel® helps your staff review individual documents and spot likely gaps. Each review checks one order at a time. For automated review of every order, email [email protected].
Getting audited? Can Noel help?
Yes. Noel can review each patient’s records, show you what’s missing and give you a summary to download. Each review covers one record at a time. If you’re responding to an audit across many claims, talk to us and we’ll help you plan it.
Do we need IT or an integration to get started?
No. Ask Noel® works on its own, with no Brightree, NikoHealth or other integration needed. Create your account, accept the BAA, invite your team and start asking.
Is Ask Noel® really free?
Yes. Ask Noel® is free for verified DME teams. Ask about coverage criteria, LCDs and documentation rules as often as you like, with the source behind every answer. Every person also gets 1 document review a month, and each organization gets a one-time starter pack of coverage checks. Paid plans add more document reviews, drafted letters and appeals, and team tools.
Who counts as a verified DME team?
Anyone at a DME, HME or medical supply company. Sign up with your work email and your organization’s NPI, and we confirm it in seconds.
What do paid plans add?
Noel checks your patients’ paperwork. Upload an order or record, and Noel checks it against the LCD, flags what’s missing and drafts the letter or appeal to fix it. Solo, Team and Business differ by users and document reviews per month.
We already use CompliantRx. Can we get Ask Noel®?
